Before Your Pure PDGF+ Treatment
Pure PDGF+ is commonly paired with professional skin rejuvenation treatments such as microneedling, RF microneedling, laser resurfacing, CO2, CoolPeel, and chemical peels. Please follow the specific pre-care instructions for the treatment you are receiving.
1 Week Before Treatment
Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning.
Do not use tanning beds or self-tanner on the treatment area.
Pause retinol, tretinoin, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, exfoliating scrubs, and strong active skincare unless instructed otherwise.
Avoid waxing, threading, aggressive facials, chemical peels, laser treatments, or other irritating treatments on the area being treated.
Keep your skincare routine simple, gentle, and hydrating.
Drink plenty of water to support healthy skin hydration.
2–3 Days Before Treatment
Avoid alcohol if you are prone to bruising or sensitivity.
Avoid unnecessary blood-thinning supplements such as fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, turmeric, garlic pills, and high-dose omega supplements unless prescribed by your doctor.
Notify your provider if you have active acne, open wounds, rash, irritation, infection, or a cold sore in the treatment area.
If you have a history of cold sores, please let your provider know before treatment. An antiviral medication may be recommended.
Day of Treatment
Arrive with clean skin.
